We head north first, staying a week at Regalia Hotel, followed by a week down at Panolem Beach before heading back to Mumbai and home. We really loved it here. It's hot, it's interesting, the foods good and the driving is mad. A unique blend of Indian and South Pacific vibe with a hint of South East Asia.
My India... Goa... Where sun meets sea and sea meets face... we're flown to the tropics in BOLD, tapas style. Walking around old Town has us gazing over the hues while walking on sand has become our latest guilty pleasure. A charming place we are set to absorb. Pina Coladas on tap. Honking on mute. Sand (kf2024)
My India... Goa... A feast for the eyes, this stretch of golden sand is just the ticket. A visit to Willy Wonkas Fact sounds Absolutely Bonkers to the naked eye. A web of cafe delights abound here... from Namaste to Fat Fish, we've dined em all. Triggering a stomach invitation from self... counting crows while waving at the sea. You know what they say... Too many ruins, ruins the broth. Back on the road, near miss. Toot Toot. Tooooooot. Off to Mumbai for another helping. Go on then, Go on, Go on, Goaann. (kf2024)
An epic holiday... so much crammed into 5 weeks. I think we're learning how to travel well. Mumbai was OK, good to see but not a big highlight. Next time we'll stay close to the airport and city. Things you learn.
