Chester n’ Liverpool

Stopping off in Chester to have a walk around makes a great mornings start. The town is intriguing in detail and historic, with ancient Roman walls to walk and buildings to stare at all day. We had a great time here, we beat the crowds and headed off to Liverpool for the afternoon. Taking in the city centre, the docks and the famous music scene, and of course visiting Everton to top it all off. Great cities, both interesting and good to tick off.

Castles and more

We’re having a Whale of a time roaming around Wales. It’s very much like NZ in almost every way, except way more history here and lots and lots of Castles. On our way up the coast we had an unexpected stop in Llarnath, a small village we were busy driving through at the time. Its times like this we appreciate the comfort of a BnB, the friendliness of the pub and the nearby mechanic. After 2 days we’re back on the road again and on our way to Ireland, it’s a very beautiful place to call home for now.

Cardiff and South Wales

Winter in Wales? Lol… who in their right mind hahaha
Well, we’re in Southern Wales right now, staying in a small village on the West Coast. We’ve seen a bit already, despite the weather. We caught a soccer game in Cardiff (Cardiff City v Derby), stayed in a bnb with 5 fluffy indoor cats, roamed around Cardiff Castle and saw Tintern Cathedral. Meandering our way along country lanes and fishing villages in the tail end of a storm. Not half bad tho, we chasing our (Pryce) family heritage.

A slightly different feel to England, it feels familiar, just like home.

Wild coats in the Cotswolds

There’s a storm warning here for Ireland, Scotland and the north on England with an incoming storm.  Luckily, we’re in the middle of The Cotswolds and it’s prettier than a picture. Naturally, we zoom around with a list of small towns and villages and give our camera a workout. Glam.

Through streets of stone, Amazing displays grace our horizon. If not a day, then a week… but this time a day will do just fine
