Portofino… a touch of class

On our journey down to Lucca from Genoa… a delicious little stop at Portofino on the way.  It’s seaside chic in the most Italian way. Nice place to chill.

Eze like Monday Morning

Family time in the South of France… what can I say, it’s the best!

We based ourselves in Cagnes -Sur-Mer… and zoomed around on the train from Antibes to Menton, taking in Nice and the boys went to Monaco for the Grand Prix. It’s a beautiful area. All along this coast is just amazing places to stay. The perfect start to an epic holiday.

This morning we stopped off in the village of Eze, on our way to Genoa. A real treat. 

Lots to explore in Eze. So quaint and tidy.

We’re here for family time and car racing… and a splash of the Med. Fab!

Air in Arles

A relaxing days driving back across France and stopping off in Arles for some air. Cute wee gem of a town, and no surprise considering the art connection. We really enjoyed… off to Nice tomorrow, and off to see more family.

Driving to Carcassonne

We’ve been covering some miles, with a trip over the border to stay in Carcassonne, in a nearby village. It’s awesome to be back in the South of France. Walking around the castle and inner city was excellent. What an incredible place.
