We’re slowing down our pace just a little and soaking up the Mediterranean Coast, arriving in Zadar just after lunch. The drive here was nice, along the edge of mountains and over the top. It’s a rugged environment here, and we’re looking forward to a few beach stops as we head south. Zadar is an interesting place and has a good feel about it. There’s a mix of old and new here, and it’s a town that seems a good pace. Not too touristy either which is a bonus, and one of the reasons we’re travelling now.
Sunset in Zadar
Old buildings, repaired after war
Zadar Old Town… quiet but had a good vibe
Sea and sky… many colours of blue
Roman ruins are displayed quite beautifully
Huge craggy mountains to drive through
